Material Fine quality ajrakh hand block printed linen x tussar silk sareee with zari border made using natural dyes through traditional ajrakh technique of handblock printing practised by Abdul Rauph Khatri from Kutch, Gujarat. Linen is known for its versatile appeal and is derived from flax plant fibre, linen is laborious to make, but the fiber is very absorbent and garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather. Tussar silk is known for its unique texture, sheen of silk and feel of cotton. A perfect blend of both worlds completely suitable for all weathers.

Brand Ajrakh is a traditional vegetable dyeing and resist block-printing technique on cloth. It is estimated to be around 4,500 years old. The Ajrakh artisans in India are originally from Sindh and they migrated to Kutch in Gujarat and Barmer in Rajasthan. Ajrakh is the traditional attire of the Maldhari pastoral community of Bhuj. The process of 'Ajrakh' is a long drawn process with many stages and each layer of colour is printed after a gap of time so the cloth has to stay for the day.
