Shradhanjali is a handicraft unit of Auroville. Shradhanjali (‘offering of faith’) was started in a corner of Aspiration community in 1980 by two young Indian women who dreamed of creating beautiful products to generate some much needed income for Auroville. With Beejika, Shradhanjali showcases the marvels and uniqueness of Nature, reflected in the seeds of Auroville's trees, planted over the last 40 years. Profits from this range go towards supporting sustainable, indigenous forest plantations.
