Material Fine quality original kalamkari hand block printed natural dyed handloom pure cotton towel crafted by the skill full artisans of Pedana. Kalamkari is the earliest and more complex techniques of block-printing. Showcasing an assortment of hand block printed motifs inspired by traditional kalamkari painting.
Care Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents, excess natural colors may bleed when washed for the first time, thereafter machine wash is fine.

Srinivas is one of the only artisans in the country who still follows the original technique of hand-block printed Kalamkari and since Srinivas took over the workshop from his father Pitchuka Veera Subbaiah, he has been struggling to keep the original art form, which dates back to the 11th and 12th century, alive and intact.
