Khatri Nasir Ismail
Nasir is a young Ajrakh Block Printing artisan from Kutch. Originally from Dhamadka, his family shifted to Ajrakhpur after the earthquake as Dhamadka experienced very low water levels and the quality was also not well suited for the craft. He learnt his skills from his father and family and undertook the craft business as he turned 22 years. To hone his skills, he attended a natural dyeing workshop to learn more about color combinations which he then applied the same in his creations. Today he has exhibited his work in several exhibitions and takes pride in his heritage.
