Kashida Embroidered is one of the most ancient and traditional types of craft. It is also known as ‘Kasida’. The embroidery is done with multi-colored threads. This delicate and traditional form of art is done by the young men of Kashmir. From early time to today Kashmiri Embroidery (Kashida) has its own recognition all over the country and also around the world. It reflects the historic traditional art of the Kashmir. Chanderi silks are known for its gossamer looks and amazing feel.
