Traditional madhubani handpainted linen handloom dupatta with tassels done by master artisan of Bihar. Madhubani - Mithila Painting (also called Madhubani art or Mithila painting) is practiced in the Mithila region of India. Painting is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using fabric colours and pigments, and is characterised by eye-catching geometrical patterns. Linen is known for its versatile appeal and is derived from flax plant fibre, linen is laborious to make, but the fiber is very absorbent and garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather.

RootsTale is a brand initiative to facilitate cross- fertilization of ideas of hand artisans and handloom weavers. It is an initiative to work mainly with women artisans from both rural and urban areas who have no or little access to the mainstream market. Being a woman entrepreneur, she feel that they need to empower women artisans economically so that they can redefine social relations in their own favor. The team of 60 people includes artists, weavers, artisans, tailors and growers.
