This delicate and traditional form of art is done by the young men of Kashmir. From early time to today Kashmiri Embroidery (Kashida) has its own recognition all over the country and also around the world. It reflects the historic traditional art of the Kashmir. Kota doria is a blend of strong cotton and lustrous silk yarns, Kota doria is an age-old Indian textile produced in the Kota district of Rajasthan. The Doria or the threads are finely interweaves to make the check patterns. Its lightweight and sheer texture giving an exquisite grace and elegance of its own.
