Brand
The co-founders of Recycle Aastha always had a passion for working towards the betterment of the environment. When they came face-to-face with the fact that religious places in India discard over 2 million tons of floral and bio-degradable waste every day, they embarked on a mission to curate a solution on how to salvage this waste. The idea was to preserve the faith of the devotees offering these flowers at religious places and also to re-create valuable products from it that could again be used in religious places. This idea precedes them to CSIR-CIMAP (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research), where they got the duly patented and tested recipes and processes. The initial focus was to research and develop the products that could be made from recycling sacred floral and bio-degradable offerings and then at Nirmalaya it started the creation of premium and organic incense products like incense sticks, incense cones, havan cups made up herbs and essential oils.
In April 2019, Rajiv discovered that flowers served at the Shirdi temple in Maharashtra were processed into incense. A few months later, learning how to recycle flowers and other waste from temple offerings, they all came together to establish Nirmalaya, then replicated the same model in Delhi. Today, their factory occupies about 3,000 yards in Delhi's Dham complex. They have developed their own recycling process and have been patented by the Scientific and Industrial Research Council. This fragrance strives to create a space filled with fragrance that caresses your senses and leaves a clean feeling in your home. Their mission is to rid our country of religious waste and chemicals. Our staff picks the flowers themselves and creates a scent that's good for you and the planet too.
