Material	Fine quality waffle weave handwoven fine cotton towel. Waffle weave is a 6 shaft texture weave which increases the water Absorbency of the fabric when applied. Soft, light yet fully absorbent.
Care	Hand wash separately in cold water for the first time. thereafter machine wash is fine. NOTE - Do not use bleach. Do not scrub. Do not soak for too long.
Colour	Slight difference in color from the visible product image is possible. Read more.
Brand	Gyan vidya hastshilp was started in Diwali 2017 by Bharat Jain, a master weaver entrepreneur from Ajmer, Rajasthan. Bharat is an electronics engineer who worked at a corporate office in Jaipur when the religious beckoning of Guru Vidyasagarji made him go and learn so as to help rural people generate their own livelihoods, he was highly fascinated by handloom fabrics and got trained in hand weaving from the interiors of Madhya Pradesh before setting up his own looms. There he saw handloom for the first time. He learnt nearly all aspects from constructing a loom to weaving. He worked at their units, helped them set up handloom units to generate employment. Presently, he has 9 looms with 5 artisans working with him in texture, zari, extra warp and jacquard weaving. Bharat trained local youth who did not know weaving. He imparts training to the weavers and artisans himself, designs new fabrics and loves printing using traditional hand blocks. His expertise lies in Ajrakh, Indigo, Sanganeri prints, and various types of weaves. His ambition is to make handwoven apparels a mark of fashion, where people flaunt, when they wear Handloom!
