Material Fine quality kala raksha pakko hand embroidered cotton sling bag.
Paako literally solid, is a tight square chain and double buttonhole stitch embroidery, often with black slanted satin stitch outlining. The motifs of paako, sketched in mud with needles, are primarily floral and generally arranged in symmetrical patterns.
Care Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents, excess natural colours may bleed when washed for the first time. Avoid soaking for too long.

Brand Kala Raksha means the preservation of the art form. Kala Raksha was started with the aim to collect artisans from different regions, preserve the traditional art form and making it a source of income for the artisans. The organization was founded by Prakash Bhanani in 1993 in Kutch. The organization consists of the artisans, community members, and experts in the fields of art, design, rural management and museum. They had started with the group of artisans from Sumrasar Sheikh, a village 25 km away from Bhuj. Now becoming a group of more than 1000 women artisans from seven ethnic communities practicing the traditional embroideries. They have also established a local school for designing in 2005 for developing their knowledge towards the latest designs and the changing fashion trends in the market.
