Material This handpainted original work of warli painting is done on canvas base with acrylic colours. Warli painting is a style of tribal art mostly created by the tribal people from the North Sahyadri Range in Maharashtra, India. Warli is one of the oldest forms of Indian folk art and has its origins in the Warli region of Maharashtra. This form of tribal art mainly makes use of geometric shapes such as circles, triangles and squares to form numerous shapes depicting life and beliefs of the Warli tribe. In olden days, Warli art was done on walls on special occasions.

Brand Raah Creative design (RCD) is a social business started in 2011 to support tribal artisans and women groups create bespoke, niche products using their intrinsic skills and sell them to connoisseurs and other buyers from across the world. RCD currently works with Warli artisans and with women on fabric patchwork art. Niche training, designs, raw material is provided to these groups by RCD and once the product is ready, it is bought by paying artisans immediately and selling is the responsibility of RCD. In the past 4 years since its inception, RCD provides income opportunities to over 100 artisans and women.
