Shradhanjali is a handicraft unit of Auroville. Shradhanjali (‘offering of faith’) was started in a corner of Aspiration community in 1980 by two young Indian women who dreamed of creating beautiful products to generate some much needed income for Auroville. With Beejika, Shradhanjali showcases the marvels and uniqueness of Nature, reflected in the seeds of Auroville's trees, planted over the last 40 years. Profits from this range go towards supporting sustainable, indigenous forest plantations.

Shradhanjali ("Offering of Faith") was founded in 1980 by two young Indian women who dreamed of making beautiful crafts and bringing a much-needed income to Auroville. From growing the plants to harvesting, drying, decorative packaging, and final packaging, every step of the production process is done by hand using environmentally friendly methods. Our products are made from recycled handmade paper by recycling cotton rags along with other natural fibers.
