Ambarien has been a recipient of many prestigious fellowships including the Carole Fielding Award, USA, Ben Lazaroff Screenwriting Award, Philadelphia Independent Film and Video Grant, USA, and the European Union–India Documentary Exchange Programme on Peace and Conflict Resolution, UK.
Synopsis/ Description
In what is also known as India’s ‘Little Pakistan’ in New Delhi, a girl is on a search for a lost home movie. The search takes her into the mapless lanes of the place she calls home. These lanes conceal a history and a past. A love and loss tale about being Muslim in India today.
