Brand
Neeraj Bondwal is a awardee fine wooden artist from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. He got honored for his craft in 2015 from the Government. Apart from this Since 40 years he & his family got many national & international rewards. Neeraj Bondwal learned this craft from his father national awardee late Shri Jai Narayan Bondwal ji. He & his family is working in this craft since 20 years.
Coming from a family of believers in the art of sculpture, Neeraj Bondwal appreciates and understands his legacy. With five national award winners and the Shilp Guru Award (Rajendra Bondwal), the Bondwal family is at the top of the list. Traditionally, his grandfather, father, and uncle have been working on ivory for generations. Over time, they had to switch to sandalwood and then to Kadam and Abnoosewood. Many of us have seen elephant-shaped undercuts of different elephants, both marble and wood. It was first created by Niraj Bondwal's father, Mahabil Bondwal Ji, who also won a national award. Neeraj Ji has worked to inherit his legacy and master his own style.
